HUMAN TOUCH, COURAGE, OPENNESS, INTERNATIONALITY, EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION, FLEXIBILITY.
United Nations Global Compact:
Since 2009 Saet Group has been actively supporting the United Nations Global Compact. UNGC is a both a policy platform and a practical framework for companies committed to sustainability and responsible business practices. As a leadership initiative endorsed our C.E.O.,it aims to align business operations and strategies everywhere with “the Ten universally accepted Principles” in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. The UN Global Compact is a voluntary initiative that relies on public accountability, transparency and disclosure to complement regulation and to provide a space for innovation. The UN Global Compact combines the best properties of the UN as moral authority and convening power, with the private sector’s solution-finding strengths and resources, and the expertise and capacities of other key stakeholders. The initiative is global and local; private and public; voluntary, yet accountable. www.unglobalcompact.org
Equal opportunities:
Moreover, in 2009 Saet Group signed the International card of “Equal opportunities in the workplace”, in order to officialize the complete support of the Group towards global working collaborations, respect of genders, disabilities and correct values of human beings, careers orientation and a friendly working environment within the company.
SAET Social:
In 2009 the Social Project was launched by HR & Saet Group management in Leinì plant.
This charity program sees SAET employees spending some paid-but-volunteered week working hours in two different charity foundations to help out people in needs:
- PAIDEIA – for kids with difficult life situations www.fondazionepaideia.it
- CEPIM – for life improvement of down syndrome people www.cepim-torino.it
The choice of offering human support instead of just money, aims to highlight the importance of the human commitment within the society: indeed, the impressive achievement of the Social Project is that since March 2009, more than 20 SAET employees’ families are involved in it too.
